65+ Year Old Male with Superficially Invasive Squamous Cell Carcinoma on Nose
65+ Year Old North Dallas Male with Superficially Invasive Squamous Cell Carcinoma on nose. Patient originally came in late 2015 in which we found a spot of concern on his nose. After performing a biopsy via shave method, results came back as cancerous. Best option following pathology report was to proceed with Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Two stages of Mohs Micrographic Surgery was performed early 2016. Following Mohs Micrographic Surgery, patient was sent to plastics for surgical repair. Final Defect Size:1.3 cm x 1.2 cm. One month follow-up showed no sign of cancerous cells around treated area.More
