Candi Carney
Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner
Candi Carney is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology. Candi practices both general and cosmetic dermatology. She specializes in treating all types of medical issues that manifest on the surface of the skin. Candi has also completed additional training in cosmetic dermatology to improve the appearance of skin. Her skill set includes procedures such as Botox, various fillers, chemical peels and microneedling. Additionally, Candi has recently become board certified in the field of Dermatology; she is recognized as one of less than 300 nurse practitioners nationwide to receive this certification.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Candi received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Women’s University and her Master of Science from the University of Texas at Tyler. Currently, Candi is continuing her education at the University of Texas Arlington where she will graduate in 2020 with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Candi is now recognized by the American Board of Nursing Specialties and the Dermatology Nurse Certification Board as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner.

PERSONAL INTERESTS
In her spare time, Candi enjoys continuing her education and training of dermal fillers. When she is not working, she enjoys travel and staying fit. Her goal is to visit and hike all major national parks in the US.
